de Armas joins AHAA’s Advisory Board

AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing is pleased to announce its newest Advisory Board member, Stacie M. de Armas, the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Consumer Engagement at Nielsen, the global performance management company. The AHAA Advisory Board provides thought leadership and insights representative of the broad Hispanic marketing spectrum and helps AHAA’s board of directors set long-term strategy. Advisory board members are comprised of Hispanic marketing leaders from diverse industry backgrounds including media, production, consulting, music, direct response, promotions, research, public relations, and advertising.

At Nielsen, de Armas is responsible for the development of ongoing strategic multicultural initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, diverse industry allies and community leaders. She oversees the U.S. Strategic Community Alliances and Consumer Engagement department’s Community Relationship Management (CRM) strategy to ensure long-term connectivity with diverse communities around the country. With more than 16 years of multicultural market experience, de Armas represents the company as a thought leader and manages day-to-day relationships with Nielsen’s External Hispanic & Latino Advisory Council. In December of 2014, she was selected as one of Latina Style Magazine’s top 10 Latina Executives of the year.
