De la Parra – Director Of Promotions & Marketing @ Univision KMEX-TV & TeleFutura KFTR-TV.

KMEX-TV and TeleFutura station KFTR-TV appointed Luis De la Parra as the stations’ new Director of Promotions and Marketing, it was announced by Jorge Delgado, General Manager for both KMEX-TV and KFTR-TV.
“Luis’ wide range of experience in marketing, promotions and television production both in the U.S. and abroad will prove to be an extremely valuable asset for both of our stations,” said Delgado. “I am confident that his efforts will contribute to KMEX-TV and KFTR-TV’s continued momentum as media forces in the Los Angeles television market.”
De la Parra will be responsible for developing long-range strategic planning for new and on-going projects that enhance the brand image of KMEX-TV and KFTR-TV. De la Parra will oversee all aspects of the stations’ creative services and television production that include marketing, promotions and special events production as well as supervise all on-air promotional and graphic efforts for both stations.
Before joining KMEX-TV, De la Parra served as Creative Services Director for Univision station WGBO-TV in Chicago for the last six years and as producer of the launch campaign for Univision Chicago from 1995 to 1996. Under his leadership, WGBO was the recipient of the 1996 Regional Emmy in the Best Special Event category. Prior to WGBO, De la Parra worked in various capacities at Televisa in Mexico City including as an Assistant Director for several of the Company’s hit telenovelas and programs including “Alcanzar un Estrella I & II”, “Premios Heraldo”, “Papa Soltero” and many others.
