Degree Men kicks off Futbol Fiesta Celebrations.

Degree Men, official partner and antiperspirant/deodorant of the Mexican National Team, kicks off its 2010 partnership with a thrilling street-level Futbolote Challenge at Futbol Fiesta, a free interactive fan zone that takes place four hours prior to the Mexican National Team’s friendly match against New Zealand on March 3, 2010 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Starting at 4:00 p.m. PST, fans will have the opportunity to visit the Degree Men Futbolote Challenge area at Futbol Fiesta and meet legendary Mexican National Team soccer players such as Felix Fernandez, co-host of Univision’s sports program Republica Deportiva and Martin “El Pulpo” Zuniga and Alberto Garcia Aspe, who will take their soccer skills to a new height at the Degree Men Futbolote Challenge — a life-size version of the popular foosball table-top game where people take on the role of foos men — and show fans who is the ultimate Mexican National Team soccer legend.
Fans across the country will be able to Face the Degree Men Challenge at Futbolote pre-game celebrations at Futbol Fiestas in various cities across the country including Charlotte, New York, Chicago and Houston. They’ll also have the opportunity to take photos with Felix Fernandez and get an autograph of the legendary soccer player. Futbol Fiesta in Pasadena will give fans the opportunity to face the Degree Men Futbolote Challenge with Martin “El Pulpo” Zuniga and Alberto Garcia Aspe. Zuniga and Garcia Aspe, both Mexican National Team legends, will be rivals on the Futbolote field to see who can Siempre Enfrenta el Reto. The legends will play against each other on separate teams made up of Mexican National Team fans while Felix Fernandez gives a play-by-play of the intense action.

The Degree Men Futbolote Challenge at Futbol Fiestas across the country is part of the brand’s continued effort to engage Hispanic soccer fans through its Siempre Enfrenta el Reto marketing campaign. Through this campaign, Degree Men wants to encourage Hispanic fans to always face the challenge and remind them that whatever challenge they may be facing, Degree Men won’t let them down.
