Border Media Partners (BMP) announced that Mr. Jerry Del Core has been named Vice President/Market Manager for Austin. Mr. Del Core has 20 years of broadcasting experience in Radio and Television, and he brings a wealth of experience to his new position.

Prior to joining BMP, Mr. Del Core worked for the past seven years as Regional Vice President and Market Manager for Clear Channel in Atlanta, Georgia and Sacramento, California. He also worked in the Radio industry as a General Manager in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Raleigh, North Carolina. He has Sales and Sales Management experience in Boston, Massachusetts, and also in Phoenix, Arizona. His television experience encompasses working at ABC TV Network in News and Affiliate Relations; and also working at WNEV TV 7 in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Del Core is a graduate of New York University, and he is married with three children. In 2003, he received the prestigious “Clear Channel Executive of the Year” Award.

In his new position, Mr. Del Core is responsible for KHHL 98.9 FM “La Ley;” KXBT 104.9 FM “The Beat;”KXXS 92.5 FM “Digital;” KFON “Norteño;” KELG 1440 AM “La Luz;” KOKE 1600 AM “Progressive Talk 1600;” and KXTZ 1560 “La Lupe.”
