Denny’s @ cruz/kravetz:IDEAS.

Denny’s announced the selection of cruz/kravetz:IDEAS in Los Angeles as its agency of record for the Hispanic consumer market. The assignment is effective beginning September 1.

cruz/kravetz:IDEAS will be responsible for developing marketing strategies to reach the Hispanic consumer and creating television, radio and print advertising. The agency will also place all Spanish-language media with the first campaign appearing in early 2003.

“The Spanish-speaking consumer is very important to Denny’s and we are pleased to have cruz/kravetz:IDEAS in the stewardship role. The agency’s business solutions as presented during the review were right on target and their creative and media recommendations were very smart. Having worked with cruz/kravetz:IDEAS at El Pollo Loco I know what
great partners they can be. We can’t wait for them to get started,” said Margaret L. Jenkins, Denny’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

“Denny’s is committed to the Hispanic market and believes that it has the potential to grow this powerful brand substantially. For every agency, a win is important but, to us, Denny’s is special — because it is a recognition of our past successes with its management team and because it is a step up to national prominence for cruz/kravetz:IDEAS,” said Carl Kravetz, the agency’s chief executive officer. “We are thrilled to be working with Nelson Marchioli and Margaret Jenkins once again and look forward to participating in the revitalization of an American icon.”
