Derbez Joins Cast of Latinologues.

Eugenio Derbez, Latin America’s top comic, will guest star in Rick Najera’s hit comedy Latinologues in a special performance taking place at the newly renovated Ricardo Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday, July 31 at 8:00 p.m. The celebrity show will be filmed as part of the Latinologues DVD series directed by Sergio Guerrero and produced by Sabrosa Entertainment’s Kevin Benson and Michael Harpster for distribution by Image Entertainment.

Along with Derbez (Derbez en Cuando, Derecho al Derbez, Shrek 2 en Español), other guest celebrities have been invited to perform such as Jacob Vargas (Traffic, Next Friday, Selena), René Laván (Dirty Dancing 2-Havana Nights, Bitter Sugar), and Carlos Gomez (Day Without a Mexican, House of Sand and Fog) and Lina Acosta (Real Women Have Curves). Regular Latinologues(TM) cast members will also perform — Paul Saucido (The Shield, LATV Live), Tricia Cruz (LATV Live), Elena Sotomayor, Monica Ortiz and writer and creator of Latinologues(TM), Rick Najera (MAD TV, In Living Color).
