MEC Bravo, the multi-cultural communications division of Mediaedge:cia , has appointed Diane Librizzi to the position of Partner, Account Director, and Edwin Camacho Account Manager. The pair, both Hispanic advertising specialists, will handle MEC Bravo accounts, Macy’s and Berlex, and focus on new business. Librizzi will also work on the Payless account. Librizzi joins MEC Bravo from Latino Media Source, which she established in 1986 and where she created the first independent Hispanic media planning and buying agency, servicing clients such as Telemundo, HBO, Procter and Gamble and Alka-Seltzer. Prior to this, she held positions at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample and at Hispania, a subsidiary of JWT.

Camacho began his career in the Hispanic market in 2003 at The Bravo Group, working on the Sears business as an Assistant Planner and later as a Media Planner.
