Diario San Diego Replaces Diario Latino.

Diario San Diego will be Diario Latino’s new name as a result from the contest Add Salsa to the Diario (Ponle la Salsa al Diario) which involved during weeks the Hispanic community”, announced José Santiago Healy, President y Editor of this publication.
“Diario San Diego responds to the voice of our community which actively participated in the selection of the new name among three choices that better represented them. The answer was explicit and clear, for Diario San Diego, Voice of Our Community will fully identify the feelings of the increasingly number of Hispanic readers in our region”, explained José Santiago Healy, President of Diario San Diego.
The winner of Add Salsa to the Diario will be selected among all participants today December 12th during the afternoon in Chula Vista, California. The three names: Diario Contigo, Diario Noticias, and Diario San Diego emerged from focal groups tested by the company in September and October of 2005.
