Diaz named VP of Diversity, Inclusion & Work Life at ESPN.

ESPN announced that Monica Diaz has been named Vice President, Diversity, Inclusion & Work Life. In this role, Diaz will be responsible for advancing ESPN’s global diversity and inclusion philosophy and for leveraging its programs to build and promote ESPN as an employer of choice.

Diaz joins ESPN from the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA where she led the development and execution of the company’s global diversity and inclusion strategy. She also developed and implemented strategies to increase talent retention and advance the diverse workforce, especially women and minorities. Prior to that, she held positions of increasing responsibility at Merck & Co.
