DirecTV continues carriage if HITN.

Hispanic Information Telecommunications Network (HITN-TV) announced that DIRECTV, Inc. will continue to offer HITN programming to subscribers on its basic and Latino tiers. HITN.

All DirecTV’s subscribers will continue to have access to HITN’s mix of original productions, exclusive premieres and acquired programming with an educational focus that seeks to help Hispanics better navigate their lives in the U.S. HITN programming is available on DirecTV’s channel 438 on the basic and Latino Tiers.

“We are very pleased that DirecTV has decided to continue offering its Spanish- speaking subscribers HITN programming,” said Jose Luis Rodriguez, founder and president of HITN. “We have had a mutually beneficial relationship with DirecTV for more than three years, enabling HITN to continue its important role in enriching the educational and cultural programming for the Hispanic community.”
