Discovery en Español best Q3 since 2005.

Continuing to build on what has been the network’s most watched year ever, Discovery en Español (DSCE) posted its highest Q3 ever since being measured in 2005 in HHs, A18-49, M18-49, and W18-49. Viewers continued to flock to Discovery en Español for another successful quarter, even while up against popular sports tournaments including the Copa Libertadores semifinals and finals.

The third quarter’s growth over Q3 2009 was significant, with double digit increases in HHs (+28%), A18-49 (+28%), and M18-49 (+42%). The W18-49 demographic also saw an increase of 7% in this same time period.

“These results build on a growth trend that position our brand as a clear leader in Hispanic Pay-TV. We not only consistently rank as the #2 Hispanic Pay-TV network but have three successful growth quarters as compared to 2009 and can boast of 4 consecutive years of year over year double digit growth,” said Victor Parada, Vice President of Ad Sales for Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic Group.
