Discovery U.S. Hispanic announces participation of key talent at 2014 Upfront

Discovery U.S. Hispanic, home of Discovery en Español and Discovery Familia, confirmed the participation of key talent as part of its annual Upfront presentation to advertisers on May 13 in New York City. Dave Salmoni of Islas Mortales con Dave Salmoni (Mystery of the Lost Island), Antonio Brunet of Cromo Clandestino (Chrome Underground), Mago Pop’s Antonio Diaz and brothers Raúl and Rolando Mendez of Texas Trocas will be among the talent attending the show on behalf of Discovery en Español; and the Cake Boss himself, Buddy Valastro, will be on stage to represent Discovery Familia.

“Our theme this year is ‘feel closer,’ reflecting our commitment to fulfill the entertainment interests of Hispanics, and contextual relevance that allows for brands to connect with viewers,” said Ivan Bargueiras, General Manager for Discovery U.S. Hispanic networks. “Our decision to bring top talent this year to our Upfront show is an example of our efforts to bring our audience and partners closer to the best of Discovery.”
