Disney-Pixar movies available on Telemundo.

Telemundo announced that it has licensed the rights to broadcast multiple animated features from Disney•Pixar. The deal will bring ten beloved box office hits, including six Academy Award®-winners, to U.S. Spanish-language television audiences starting in October. The first Disney•Pixar film to debut as part of the licensing agreement is the Academy Award® winning animated feature “The Incredibles” on October 2. The other animated films included in the deal are “Toy Story,” “Toy Story 2,” “A Bug’s Life,” “Cars,” “Up,” “Finding Nemo,” “WALL•E,” “Ratatouille,” and “Monsters, Inc.”
“Hispanics make up one-quarter of the audiences that attend animated films,” said Joshua Mintz, senior executive vice president, Telemundo Entertainment. “We are proud to be able to bring the very best in animation to our audience. This new and exciting deal will allow our audiences to watch some of their favorite Disney•Pixar productions in the comfort of their homes, in addition to the high-quality original productions they have come to love and expect from Telemundo.”
