Don Davis joins d expósito & Partners as Director of Media Services.

In a new announcement that confirms a wave of hires of high-level executives at d expósito & Partners, LLC, the agency welcomed Donald Davis, who has acted as a key player on the general market media scene throughout his successful career.  Mr. Davis becomes Director of Media Services, informed Gloria Constanza, Partner/Chief Contact Strategist.

“Don Davis brings extensive experience in the area of media planning and buying; globally, domestically and in the U.S. multicultural arena as well,” said Ms. Constanza.  “He comes at the right time of our agency’s growth to strengthen our buildup and help us flourish in this exciting time of media, as we enter a second phase of expansion with our client partners,” she added.

Donald Davis, widely known as Don, started his career at Young & Rubicam and during his tenure wore many hats including the management of a department of 200.  He was responsible for strategic leadership, quality control, budgets, training and new business development.  He led core teams that helped Y&R win global accounts and worked on a spectrum of categories including CPG, Pharma, Corporate, B2B, Travel, Financial, QSR and Motion Picture Studios.  

This is a big win for d expósito & Partners as Don brings many years of agency, media and client background including general marketing strategy, consumer insight, integrated cross-platform execution, sports and event sponsorship, promotion and advertising, across traditional, digital and social media platforms.  After Y&R spun its media unit into Mediaedge:cia, Don became Managing Partner. There he ran its Global Solutions Unit in New York and the centralized operations of numerous accounts including LG Electronics, Accenture, Star Alliance, United Airlines, NFL and Xerox, among others.

Don’s most recent venture was his consultancy business, Emphasis Partners, where he practiced a full range of services including media intelligence, total communications planning, new business development, media agency organizational restructuring, creative agency integration and marketing partnerships.  This included partnerships at gyro Advertising and Subway.
