Dougherty named VP of National Spot Sales for Univision Television Group.

Univision Communications Inc. announced the appointment of Marie Ann Dougherty to the position of vice president of National Spot Sales for Univision Television Group. In this role, Dougherty will help lead the team of national spot sales professionals in Los Angeles, helping them develop innovative advertising and marketing solutions for Univision’s marketing and agency clients. She will report to Antonio Roman, senior vice president of National Sales, Univision Television Group.
“Marie Ann is well respected for her ability to build deep relationships and develop integrated advertising solutions, merchandising and promotional campaigns, custom research and product development initiatives for our clients,” said Roman. “Her track record of success makes her the ideal choice to lead our National Spot Sales team in Los Angeles.”
Dougherty joined Univision in 2001 as an account executive for KMEX Univision 34. Since then, she has held positions as National Spot Sales account executive and most recently as the National Spot Sales manager for KMEX Univision 34 and KFTR UniMás 46 in Los Angeles. Dougherty has also held various account management positions, including at Bromely Communications as a regional account manager. She was also previously an account director at Ornelas & Associates, an account supervisor at Anita Santiago Advertising, and as an account director at Enlace Communications. She started her career as an account executive at Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar.
