Dr. Lifshitz – Publisher @ Prevention en Español.

Editorial Televisa announced the appointment of Dr. Aliza Lifshitz as Prevention en Español’s new Executive Publisher. As a media personality across different platforms, Dr. Lifshitz will help create the most relevant magazine in this category for the US Hispanic market as well as act as a magazine promoter in addition to becoming an important and credible link for the magazine to the market.

Dr. Aliza Lifshitz is an alumnae of the National Autonomous University of Mexico’s Medical School, and specialized in internal medicine and clinical pharmacology at Tulane University and the Ochsner Medical Foundation. She was also a Fellow in endocrinology at the University of California San Diego. She is an accomplished physician, having served on the A.M.A. Advisory Committee to the Council on Medical Education and hosts a one-hour, weekly health broadcast titled “El Consultorio de la Dra. Aliza” (consulting with Dr. Aliza) running on Univision Radio local and national stations.

Dr. Lifshitz’s new responsibilities as Executive Publisher will include editing a monthly column addressing issues facing the US Hispanic population and the industry. Additionally, she will assist the current Editor-in-Chief in contributing original material and localizing content that will drive Hispanic readers to the magazine.

As Executive Publisher for Prevention en Español, Dr. Aliza will add insight, credibility and value to the publication and become an intricate part of Editorial Televisa’s effort to connect the publication with the Hispanic/Latin American market.
