The week of March 6th, del Rivero Messianu DDB’s McDonald’s TV spot “She’s Mine” was one of the top five viewed international spots on AdForum.com out of the 121,410 spots seen that week.

Originally produced for the Hispanic market, it was taken to general market and then globally. It most recently aired during the Oscar’s broadcast, March 6th.

This spot conveys the new attitude and mentality of the brand. It depicts the new role of women who are very much in control and are playing double roles as a woman and a mother. The spot shows how life and McDonald’s can surprise you everyday. This is the case when three young guys see a beautiful woman walking down the street with a backpack. The guys are mesmerized by her beauty but as she walks by they see the backpack is actually a baby carrier with her son. She’s Mine” first aired in May 2004.

“The results up to date for the spot make us very proud. It was one of the best received spots at the McDonald’s Worldwide Convention in 2004. Then, McDonald’s, in the context of Cannes, recognized it as the best “i-story” on a global basis, then it has won several awards and now this. It’s proof that the Hispanic work in the US is reaching new heights”, states Luis Miguel Messianu, Chief Creative Officer at the agency..
