E&M announces the formation and launch of E&M en Español focusing on the planning and placement of Hispanic media for direct response advertisers and the addition of Marcelo Correa as President of the new unit.
E&M‚s President, Anthony Medico expressed his agency’s commitment to the future of Hispanic direct marketing. “With Marcelo‚s leadership and knowledge of Hispanic media and E&M’s 30 year history in direct response, the opportunities for advertisers to capture sales in this growing segment of the US population are significant.”
Marcelo spent the last 12 years at Univision where he helped launch new services including TeleFutura, Univision’s VOD Platform, as well as, the Univision’s O&O stations in HD, while also helping more than double Univision and Galavision’s distribution. His most recent position at Univision was as Director of National Accounts, where he was in charge of station and network contract negotiation, distribution, sales and marketing for Univision, TeleFutura and Galavisión with top cable companies in the United States and Puerto Rico.
At E&M Advertising, Marcelo will service as President of E&M en Español. In his new position, Marcelo commented “I am committed to helping advertisers navigate the intricacies of the Hispanic market, and using my media knowledge and skills to take advantage of potential represented with this rapidly growing demographic.”
