e-volution recognized by Webby Awards.

e-volution digital marketing announce that its work for The History Channel was recognized by the Webby Awards. The History Channel – French Revolution Special microsite was acknowledged as an Official Honoree, a distinction that recognizes sites exhibiting remarkable achievement.

This site was produced for A&E Television Networks International, based in New York City, by e-volution digital marketing, the company based in Miami has more than 10 years of experience developing and managing online marketing strategies for brands such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard and Universal Music in more than 30 countries and 10 different languages. E-volution currently manages the Spanish language websites of brands like Microsoft, Sony Electronics and Universal Music Latino among others.

“The Webby Awards honors the outstanding web sites that are setting the standards for the internet,” said Tiffany Shlain, founder and ambassador of The Webby Awards. “The History Channel French Revolution’s Official Honoree selection is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.”

According to e-volution’s General Manager in the US, Ignacio Roizman, “We are thrilled to learn that The French Revolution microsites have been recognized as Offical Honorees of the Webby Awards. This particular project involved the localization of ten versions including english, hebrew, korean, german, italian, spanish (two different versions), greek, turkish and portuguese in just 30 days in order to meet AETN worldwide launch date. The localization included more than 28 video clips per version, 30 voiceovers and 3 online games that drove the registration of users from more than 30 countries”

Winners will be announced on May 9, 2006 and will be honored at a gala event at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street on June 12, 2006.
