Eduardo Verastegui makes Spanish-language ad for Yes on 4 Campaign.

Mexican actor Eduardo Verastegui is featured in a Yes on Proposition 4 television ad unveiled by the campaign.

Release of the Spanish-language ad comes just days after a poll of California voters showed strong support for the parental notification and child protection initiative among Latinos. A Field Poll published Sept. 26 revealed that Hispanics favor Proposition 4 by 62% to 31%.

In the ad, which runs just under a minute and a half long, Verastegui says family involvement is the best way to ensure that a girl gets the best medical care and understands all her options. He also notes that adult men who sexually abuse young girls often resort to secret abortions to cover up their crimes.
