Univision’s highly-rated afternoon shows, El Gordo y La Flaca and Primer Impacto, will be getting up-close and personal with the people of Los Angeles as both programs tape on location at Universal Studios and throughout the greater Los Angeles area for an entire week. Beginning Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, both programs will be broadcasting LIVE from the City of Angeles and bringing viewers distinctive stories in each of the show’s unique style. These special L.A. tapings will air on the Network during the programs’ regularly scheduled time periods: El Gordo y La Flaca and Primer Impacto are broadcast every Monday through Friday from 4 – 5 p.m. ET (check local listings) and 5 – 6 p.m. ET (check local listings), respectively. A special Pica y Se Extiende, the weekly prime time edition of El Gordo y La Flaca, will also be broadcast from Los Angeles on Thursday, May 2, from 10 to 11 p.m. ET (check local listings).
As the home of the largest population of Hispanics in the nation, Los Angeles is the perfect site for a visit from two of the most-watched programs on Spanish-language television, the gossip/talk show El Gordo y La Flaca and the magazine-style show Primer Impacto. Traveling to L.A. for the tapings will be all of the technical and El Gordo y La Flaca / Primer Impacto to L.A. camera crews from both shows and, of course, the esteemed hosts, the irrepressible Raul De Molina and Lili Estefan from El Gordo y La Flaca and the sensational Myrka De Llanos and Barbara Bermudo from Primer Impacto. During the special week, these popular television personalities will be making several public appearances, signing autographs and greeting their multitude of fans from Los Angeles and Southern California.
