El Nuevo Herald & La Opinión Digital Joins Forces On 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

El Nuevo Herald and La Opinión Digital announced that they have joined their resources and expertise to bring U.S. Hispanics a special website covering the 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The launch of the site coincides with the announcement of the Latin Grammy nominees.

With the growing popularity of Latin music worldwide, the Latin Grammys are seen as the premiere awards for recognizing the diverse music styles that originate from Latin America. The website has been designed to give Latinos complete information and photos about the awards and their favorite music stars. The site will be accessible at the web sites of El Nuevo Herald and La Opinión at www.elnuevoherald.com and www.laopinion.com/latingrammy. Updated information will be available before, during and after the Latin Grammy Awards. Interviews, facts and photos will be only part of the wide array of entertainment news that will be featured.

The partnership unites two of the most successful forces in Hispanic news: El Nuevo Herald, the nation’s largest Spanish-language Sunday newspaper, and winner of the Ortega Y Gasset Award in 2002; and La Opinión, the nation’s largest Spanish-language daily newspaper, and its website, La Opinión Digital, recognized as the Best News and Information Site of 2002.
