El Show de Alex ‘El Genio’ Lucas in San Diego

KEPADRE Radio, the production company behind ‘El Show de Alex ‘El Genio’ Lucas‚ and Media Latino Communications (MLC), a Spanish-language Radio syndication group in the United States, have signed an affiliation agreement with MVS/San Diego for the popular morning drive program “El Show de Alex ‘El Genio’ Lucas”. The show will air M-F 5a-10a on XOCL-FM/ ‘Diego 99.3’ effective immediately.

“Alex Lucas is one of the most popular talents in Spanish-language radio today. We feel that having him on in morning drive on XOCL will be a game-changer for San Diego’s Hispanic community. The “El Genio” show represents a fresh, creative alternative for this market. Our timing is great – people are looking for change and “El Genio” stands to connect in a big way,” remarked Fernando Padilla, General Manager at MVS San Diego.

In addition to “El Show de Alex ‘El Genio’ Lucas”, MLC has a full slate of syndicated programming options available including ‘El Show de la Bronca’, ‘El Show de Toño’ and ‘La Numero Uno’ format. The group serves the programming needs of over 500 affiliates. According to MLC’s Carlos Moncada, business is booming. “Our syndicated shows have provided ratings success for broadcasters in market after market. We compete against the big name shows and give independent groups programming options that can help drive revenue.”
