Entravision Communications Corporation announces New Management Structure.

Entravision Communications Corporation announced a new management structure which will strengthen the company’s ability to capitalize on its media platforms serving Latino audiences and communities and improve operating efficiencies. The structure reflects the continued expansion of the company’s digital, mobile and marketing services to complement its core television and radio assets.

Under the new structure, Entravision elevated several longtime employees to new and expanded roles within the company. Jeffery A. Liberman has assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer, and previously served as President of Entravision’s radio division. Mario M. Carrera was named Chief Revenue Officer, and previously served as Senior Vice President of Spanish-Language Television. Lastly, Esteban Lopez Blanco was named Chief Strategy Officer, Corporate Development and Innovation, and previously served as Entravision’s Executive Director of Interactive. Walter F. Ulloa will continue to lead the company as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, with Christopher T. Young continuing to serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, and Mark A. Boelke continuing to serve as General Counsel, Vice President of Legal Affairs and Secretary.

Jeffery A. Liberman has served as the President of Entravision’s radio division since May 2001. With over thirty years of experience in Spanish-language media operations and management, Liberman has previously held management positions with several leading Spanish-language media companies. In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Liberman will lead all of the company’s media operations under an integrated operations strategy.

Mario M. Carrera has more than 20 years of experience as a general manager and has previously held positions at several leading media companies in a number of top Hispanic markets such as Los Angeles, California, Dallas, Texas and Fresno and Bakersfield, California. Prior to serving as Entravision’s Senior Vice President of Spanish-Language Television, he served as the General Manager of Entravision’s Colorado media properties. Carrera is a graduate of Harvard University. As Chief Revenue Officer, Carrera will lead all of Entravision’s integrated sales and marketing strategies and solutions.

Esteban Lopez Blanco joined Entravision in 2008 as Executive Director of Interactive and has been a key part of developing and leading the company’s interactive and digital initiatives. Prior to joining Entravision, Lopez Blanco worked for the United Nations and the World Bank, and has founded several technical educational institutions and interactive technology companies. He holds a Bachelors’ degree from the University of Buenos Aires, where he studied computer sciences, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cardean University. In his new role, Lopez Blanco will lead Entravision’s corporate growth and innovation strategies and new business development.
