Entravision to syndicate El Vacilón del Mandril on LER Network.

Entravision Communications Corporation announced it has secured the rights to syndicate the popular radio program “El Vacilón del Mandril.” The show, which currently airs on Entravision’s La Tricolor format radio stations in nine markets and on Spanish Broadcasting System’s stations in two markets, is available for Spanish-language syndication on radio stations throughout the U.S. and will be sold on a network basis exclusively by LER, an Entravision Company.

“The growth of the Hispanic population in recent years has resulted in a greater need for Spanish-language programming that is both entertaining and family friendly,” said Jeffery Liberman, President of Entravision’s Radio Division. “We believe that ‘El Vacilón del Mandril’ is among our strongest radio programs and are thrilled to partner with our national sales team, LER, to syndicate the program to allow more advertisers to successfully reach their target audiences.”

“El Vacilón del Mandril,” began airing on Entravision’s radio stations in January and can be heard Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. PT. Featuring veteran Hispanic radio personality and lifelong jokester Ricardo Sanchez, better known as “El Mandril” (the Baboon), the show offers family friendly programming with an entertaining array of wisecracks, hit music, legal advice, sports, news, astrology and interviews to the most renown Latin artists. The program attracts listeners of all ages and includes live call-ins from listeners in desperate situations where Mandril can exercise his charitable spirit helping his audience.
