Entravision Radio, a division of Entravision Communications Corporation announced the new programming format for 105.1 FM in Las Vegas. Today, the station will begin airing Radio Tricolor, a regional Mexican format that features specialty shows, community involvement and audience participation. The format was created in 1993 and has evolved to the premier Spanish-language format in the United States, targeting adult 25+ audiences with hits from Vicente Fernandez, Alejandro Fernandez, Juan Gabriel, Los Tigres Del Norte and more.
“Entravision Radio is committed to providing its listeners with the Spanish-language music they want. And, as a result of increasingly strong listener demand for the music featured on our Radio Tricolor format, we made the decision to introduce it to the Las Vegas market, one of the fastest growing Hispanic markets in the United States,” said Gary Horky, General Manager of the stations. “Combined with its owned and operated Univision and Telefutura affiliated television stations, Entravision Communications provides the most attractive and comprehensive Spanish-language entertainment and information in the Las Vegas market.”
Since last Wednesday, 105.1 FM has aired Jose Feliciano’s Christmas classic “Feliz Navidad” continuously.
