Entres Nos Atlanta launches.

Atlanta Latino, Inc., publisher of Atlanta Latino Newspaper, and Telemundo 47 will launch Entres Nos Atlanta, a community television show on January 17, 2009. This weekly 30-minute program will air on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM EST on popular Telemundo digital channel 47 (W47DN-DT), which is available over-the-air, free of charge in metropolitan Atlanta to over 3 million viewers. “As with our print and online publications, Entre Nos Atlanta is committed to presenting television content that is both informative and entertaining to the Latino viewers about the issues, interests, and topics that are relevant to them,” said Judith Martinez-Sadri, editor-in-chief of Atlanta Latino Newspaper and anchor of Entre Nos Atlanta.

Entre Nos Atlanta is essentially produced in a magazine format and will feature interviews with local Latin American newsmakers covering human-interest stories and will include live entertainment and educational segments. Show segments will also be available for viewing online at www.atlantalatino.com and through reruns airing on Wednesdays at 2:00 AM EST. General Manager of Telemundo Channel 47, Susan Oh stated, “Providing top tier programming coupled with local programming such as Entre Nos Atlanta is the station’s way of connecting with viewers and uniting the community.”

Entre Nos Atlanta will be recorded in front of a live audience at Santa Fe Mall located in Gwinnett County, the highest Latino-populated County in Georgia. Multimedia X, LLC, a local production company, will produce the show.
