EQ Energy Drink experiencing substantial sales increases in Mexico.

EQ Labs, Inc. , a manufacturer and distributor of the EQ Smart Energy Drink (effervescent tablets) announced that it has seen a surge in sales for the EQ product line in Mexico recently.

Through a distributorship agreement with the Ensenada Sports Promotion Group (ESP Group) of Ensenada, Mexico, the EQ Smart Energy Drink was introduced to Mexico as the energy drink sponsor of events such as the Baja Open International Volleyball tournament, complemented by sponsorship of the first place trophy winner in the Series 5 Class of the prestigious Tecate-Score Baja 1000 (off-road races covering approximately 1,300 miles). These promotional events, competitions, and awards activities attract huge live audiences and millions of television viewers.

Maurice “Mo” Owens, CEO of EQ Labs stated, “The Company attributes its growing success in Mexico to its commitment to the ESP Group, who quickly obtained approval from the Mexico Ministry of Health for the product’s importation and national distribution. Mr. Owens continued, “In the meantime, the American and Mexican distributors implemented aggressive pre-launch marketing and promotional activities to ensure for EQ’s commercial success as soon as governmental approval was received. Obviously those efforts have resulted in the sales increases we’re now seeing in this market.”

Marvin Cole, the VP of Distribution and Sales at EQ Labs, Inc. states, “We did not go into Mexico with a one-size-fits-all attitude. We valued and
listened to our colleagues there, in an attempt to effectively penetrate this market as efficiently as possible, and are pleased with the results of
those efforts. We’re always being approached by international distributors wanting to open up new markets for the EQ product line, and we look forward to expanding our sales into other international markets later this year and into 2010.”
