Erica Gonzalez joins El Diario/La Prensa.

El Diario/La Prensa announced the appointment of Erica Gonzalez as Opinion Page Editor at the newspaper effective October 16. As opinion page editor, Gonzalez will be responsible for writing editorials, coordinating editorial board meetings, and soliciting and editing op-ed pieces.
Gonzalez is an experienced journalist with a background in city government. Most recently she was the director of communications for Mayor Bloomberg’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. With a Master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Journalism, Gonzalez has reported for the New York Post, written for the Village Voice among other publications, and served as a producer/editor with SoloElla.com.
