Escándalos premiering on Azteca America

Azteca America invites the public to look inside the cases that have scandalized society in Escándalos, a new television series developed around real-life events that shook the world; true-life scandals that come to the small screen with extraordinary performances and top-level production values.  Escándalos premieres Sunday, September 27 at 8:00 pm/ 7 C on Azteca America.

An international production, Escándalos is an anthology series dramatizing real-life stories that have shaken the public.  From out-of-the-ordinary family stories to the biggest scandals involving politicians, religious leaders, titans of business, or celebrities, all can be found on Escándalos.

“Well-known priest is caught in compromising photographs with a woman on a beach”.  “Famous boxer is accused of murdering his ex”.  “Successful television host is accused of corruption”.  “Famous radio personality is accused of causing the death of a young man”.  “International model is arrested for drug smuggling”.  “Sports star is accused of double murder and his case sparks incidents of racial tension across the country”.  “An intern is accused of having an affair with the President”  These are all real cases that many have talked about, but that no one had dared to dramatize with as much realism until now.  See these stories on Azteca America on this powerful series.

This innovative television series was filmed in Venezuela, the United States, Mexico, and Panama.  The first season consists of 26 episodes. Fourteen Latin-American screenwriters faithfully adapted the events that captured the public’s attention and held it through to their unexpected conclusions.

Each Sunday brings a new one-hour episode filled with drama, suspense, and action.  Each scandal comes to life on television screens thanks to the extraordinary performances of well-known talent from Venezuela, Mexico, Cuba, and Puerto Rico, such as Scarlet Ortiz, Paulo Quevedo, Ana Karina Manco, Miguel de León, Nohely Arteaga, Zully Montero, Eduardo Serrano, Flor Núñez, Diana Marcoccia, and Pedro Telemaco, among other great actors.
