Esclusa – VP of Hispanic Marketing @ Credit One Bank.

Credit One Bank announced the appointment of Augusto Esclusa as vice president of multi-cultural marketing. In his current role, Esclusa will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing communication programs for the U.S. Hispanic market, as well as overseeing other ethnic marketing initiatives within the company. He will report directly to Sam Dommer, Executive Vice-President.
“Esclusa brings extensive experience in the financial services arena primarily focused in the development of strategic integrated marketing communication programs aimed at diversity markets,” said Dommer. “Esclusa’s team will be charged with increasing awareness and relevancy of Credit One bank within the various multi-cultural markets throughout the United States.”

Esclusa’s previous position was as senior marketing manager for MoneyGram International, where he was responsible for overseeing and establishing the company’s brand identity among its growing U.S. Hispanic customer base. Esclusa is also attributed with creating and executing grassroots efforts that helped the company maintain double digit growth for three consecutive years.
Prior to joining MoneyGram, Esclusa was an entrepreneur credited with launching Despegar.com, a Hispanic travel search engine.
