Español Marketing & Communications Expands Team.

Español Marketing & Communications, Inc., a U.S. Hispanic market agency located in Cary, NC, recently announced the integration of new talent into the agency.

Beto Gontaruk brings his 20 years of experience as a Creative Director in Argentina to Español. In the past years, Gontaruk has been finalist for the Lápiz de Oro and Diente de Oro Awards, two valuable credentials in the Latin American advertising world, and has worked for a variety of clients including Ericsson, Wal-Mart, Blockbuster, General Electric, Hitachi and Volkswagen.

Erik Altamirano moved from his home in Mexico City to Texas four years ago to join Berry Brown and later Slingshot LLC, where he had a significant contribution in the development of their Hispanic Divisions and worked for leader brands in the Hispanic market such as Quaker Oats, Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky and Tía Rosa. His work has received honors from the Circulo Creativo de México and the Mexican Association of the Insurance Industry. Altamirano joins the Español team as an Associate Creative Director, where he works directly on Barton Beers, Ltd., brands, including Corona Extra and Modelo Especial.

Also joining Español’s creative team is Bob Dry, a North Carolina native and graduate of the NCSU School of Design, who possesses a natural talent for illustration and graphic arts to complement his direct experience in pre-press, design, layout and proofing.

Angélica Reynaga has joined Español as a Senior Account Executive for promotions, event marketing and community relations. Prior to joining Español, Reynaga worked for more than seven years at the largest private university in Mexico located in Monterrey, where she served as the manager of marketing communications, corporate communications, and media relations.
