ESPN Deportes Brings X Games Exhibition to Calle Ocho Festival.

ESPN Deportes announced its sponsorship of this year’s Calle Ocho Festival, the largest street festival in the U.S., taking place Sunday, March 12 in Miami, Florida. ESPN Deportes will make history by bringing X Games action to Miami for the first time ever in the event’s history. ESPN Deportes will present a Moto X exhibition, featuring top riders in the world of freestyle motocross who will perform popular mid-air tricks, including the popular “Superman” seat grab. The Moto X exhibition will feature high-flying jumps that send the riders 30 feet through the air. ZONA ESPN Deportes will be located at the corner of Southwest 8th Street and Southwest 8th avenue.
ESPN Deportes’ interactive experience will give sport fans the opportunity to experience the ESPN Deportes brand, including ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio, ESPNdeportes.com, ESPN Deportes La Revista and ESPN Deportes Wireless. Fans will have the opportunity to win ESPN Deportes-branded prizes and enjoy a LIVE telecast of the network’s exclusive Spanish-language telecast of the World Baseball Classic. The Moto X exhibition will feature riders Jeremy Carter, Nixey Danielson and Mike Mason. ZONA ESPN Deportes will feature three Moto X exhibitions throughout the afternoon.
Jeremy Carter, a California native, has been riding motocross since he was 15 years old. Carter has mastered the art and has participated in numerous X Games, including X Games Six through Nine (2000-2003) and Asian X Games in 2003. Carter’s counterpart, Mike Mason, is another California native. He has participated in several professional competitions including the Dew Action Sports Tour, Red Bull Ride to the Hills and more. Danielson, a Phoenix, Ariz. Native, has put the “wow” in Moto X showmanship with his flipping tricks. He is a two-time X Games competitor in Moto X Best Trick and a seven-time IFMA Series winner in 2005.
