ESPN Deportes’ Commentators in EA’s FIFA 13.

Three of ESPN Deportes’ most renowned soccer commentators will be the Spanish-language voices of FIFA 13, the Electronic Arts (EA) latest video game of the FIFA series to be released later this year.

Fernando Palomo, Mario Kempes and Ciro Procuna were given the opportunity to support EA in their efforts to provide an update to FIFA.

Palomo who serves as host of Fuera de Juego and play-by-play commentator for the network expressed his excitement with participating in FIFA 13, in which he expresses the same passion he brings to every game he calls on television. “I tried to record every sentence with the same level of energy and tenacity as an actual soccer match,” said Palomo.  “I’m anxious to get home with FIFA 13 and have my children see that their dad is the person calling the game they enjoy so much – that is one of the things that most motivated me, knowing that I’ll be in the console with the young and the young at heart who continue to play.”

World Cup champion, Mario Kempes is also thrilled to be part of the game, providing his analysis alongside Palomo. “It was an honor and a true pleasure to participate in FIFA 13 because it is a game we all love,” said Kempes. “I never pictured it, so when I was invited to join, I was ecstatic; I did it with love and enthusiasm, everything we said was natural and we hope everyone likes it.”

Futbol Picante’s host and soccer expert Procuna will be voice on the field. “I never imagined being invited to partake in FIFA 13, in all honesty, I am happy,” said Procuna. “I hope the fans of this video game are pleased with our work.”
