ESPN Deportes Dream Job: El Reportero Tour Set.

ESPN Deportes, ESPN’s Spanish-language network, announced the audition dates for the fourth installation of ESPN’s popular reality series, Dream Job. With this fourth installation of the popular reality series, Spanish-speaking contestants are taking it out of the studio and onto the field when ESPN Deportes turns one soccer fan’s dream into a reality in Dream Job: El Reportero. This time around, the dream job winner will take home $10,000 and get to serve as ESPN Deportes’ SportsCenter soccer reporter for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Dream Job: El Reportero will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Latino soccer fans to take their shot at stardom in major U.S. Hispanic markets. Open regional auditions will begin Friday, March 31 in New York and then visit Chicago (April 3), Mexico City (April 4), Miami (April 7), Houston (April 10), concluding in Los Angeles April 18. The auditions will be recorded and featured as segments during Sunday evening editions of ESPN Deportes SportsCenter, highlighting each of the casting stops. Each location will yield one local winner who will be guaranteed a spot in the finals. During the auditions, candidates will compete against one another in a series of “on-air” tasks, such as acting as a sideline reporter and conducting one-on-one interviews. The finalist from each city will then be announced on ESPN Deportes’ SportsCenter on Sunday, May 7. The finale will air May 17.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and no previous professional on-air experience in television or radio is required. Further show details, rules and eligibility requirements are available on http://dreamjob.espndeportes.com.
