ESPN Deportes to presents 2014 Caribbean World Series

ESPN Deportes will offer exclusive coverage of the Caribbean World Series 2014 LIVE from Margarita Island, Venezuela. Coverage kicks off with a double-header on February 1, with Puerto Rico vs. Dominican Republic and Mexico vs. Cuba. After 53 years, Cuba – represented by Villa Clara, champion of Cuba’s National Series -returns to the Series and joins “La Fiesta del Caribe.”
 
Former MLB player and manager Ozzie Guillen will add to the excitement during extensive analysis across television, ESPN Deportes Radio and ESPNDeportes.com. Host Carolina Guillen and analyst Enrique Rojas will join Ozzie Guillen for the news and information coverage. The game announcers include Ernesto Jerez, Luis Alfredo Alvarez, Ozzie Guillen, and Guillermo Celis and Jorge Eduardo Sanchez. Eitan Benezra and Carolina Padron will report from the field. In addition, Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez joins the ESPN Deportes Radio broadcast team as guest analyst.
 
Marking the LVI edition of the Series, this year’s games will be held at Estadio Nueva Esparta in Porlamar, Margarita Island. Of the 13 scheduled games, five will be double-headers where the teams will face off at 3 p.m. ET and no earlier than 7:30 p.m. ET.
