Saturday’s telecast of La Liga’s El Clásico live on ESPN Deportes from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain – a 2-0 victory for Barcelona over Real Madrid – was the highest-rated and most-watched telecast on Spanish-language cable television so far this year.
The telecast was seen on ESPN Deportes by an average of 466,000 Hispanic homes and 783,000 Hispanic viewers ( P2 plus), based on a 9.0 rating. The live telecasts of La Liga matches on ESPN Deportes continue delivering strong ratings. Live telecasts are averaging 95,000 Hispanic households and 139,000 Hispanic viewers ( P2 plus ; based on 91 matches).
