ESPN to offer multimedia coverage of the XV Pan American Games Rio 2007.

Using a full collection of its multimedia assets, ESPN will provide daily coverage of the 15th edition of the Pan American Games live from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Friday, July 13 – Sunday, July 29. Coverage of the Pan American Games will be featured on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN360.com, ESPN Deportes Radio, ESPNdeportes.com and ESPN Deportes La Revista. ESPN Brasil, the company’s Portuguese-language network, will also televise the event. The Pan American Games will be held in 16 different venues throughout Rio de Janeiro.

ESPN Deportes, the company’s Spanish-language network in the U.S., will offer at least 10 hours of daily coverage starting with Opening Ceremonies July 13 at 3 p.m. ET. Spanish-language coverage will begin at noon and conclude at 10 p.m. ET on weekdays and 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET on weekends. ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN360.com will simulcast some of ESPN Deportes’ Spanish-language coverage.

Each day will begin with a preview show and conclude with a one-hour live edition of SportsCenter at 10 p.m., ET.
