ESPN Radio Expands In LatAM.

ESPN Radio is expanding its operations in Latin America by entering into two new broadcasting agreements that will make ESPN-produced programming available to more listeners in Argentina, and for the first time, to audiences in Mexico. Willy Burkhardt, executive vice president, ESPN Enterprises and ESPN International announced the agreements that will make ESPN Radio available on Rivadavia 630 AM in Argentina and on Imagen 90.5 FM in Mexico.

“The expansion of ESPN Radio in Latin America is yet another way of serving the sports fan,” said Burkhardt. “ESPN Radio is a perfect complement to our television networks and our website ESPNdeportes.com, as we continue to provide the best sports news, information, and live event coverage in the region.”

“These two agreements are very important components of our commitment to maintain our position as the number one sports service across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America,” added Burkhardt. “In the coming months, we hope to announce other business initiatives that will allow us to launch ESPN Radio in other countries and to enhance our ESPNdeportes.com service for our online fans.”
