EstrellaTV To Premiere “La Promesa”

EstrellaTV will debut the thrilling human trafficking drama “La Promesa.” The series, which will air weekdays at 7PM/6PM C, is a non-stop thriller following three beautiful women that are kidnapped into the dark world of human trafficking. Featuring superstar actress Aislinn Derbez, these heroines are stronger than they appear and together they navigate a criminal ring to obtain their freedom. The series also features internationally renowned cast members Julieth Restrepo, Nicole Santamaria, Juan Lucas Esguerra and Christian Tappan.

Every year hundreds of women become victims of international human trafficking rings and they are forced into a life of sexual slavery and labor.  “La Promesa” is a series that realistically and bluntly portrays the real drama of thousands of people living in the midst of an illicit multimillion-dollar business. “La Promesa” exposes how these trafficking networks operate, the systematic abuse victims experience, and the drama of the family members who try at all costs to find and rescue them.
