April 8, 2006
Lopez Negrete Communications announced the addition of Eunice Muñoz C. as Director of Public Relations as the agency revamps its public relations services.
The agency will refocus on its core strengths of Media Relations, Community Relations, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications, thus enabling the agency to mirror Corporate public relations departments. A veteran public relations professional, Muñoz brings a wealth of experience from the Consumer Services sector. She has executed complex and innovative public relations strategies for Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries. In addition to attracting new business, Muñoz will lead a team of public relations professionals serving the agency’s current client portfolio, including Wal-Mart, Visa USA and Azteca Milling.
“I am excited to join an agency that truly embraces the art of integrated communication practices,” said Muñoz. “Lopez Negrete incorporates traditional and new ways of reaching Hispanic consumers into its strategy and Hispanic public relations is a concept that is increasingly demanded by Corporate America. My charge is to demonstrate the return on investment Hispanic public relations can offer in a day and age when Hispanics must be communicated to and touched from multiple directions.”
Most recently, Muñoz was Vice President of Public Relations and Communications at Banco Popular North America, where she served as company spokesperson/publicist and was responsible for functions including the startup of marketing activities, media and press coverage plans, special events and promotions.
“We are proud that Eunice has joined the LNC family. Her addition as Director of Public Relations furthers our vision of being a fully integrated, multidiscipline Hispanic marketing partner to our clients,” said Alex López Negrete, president and CEO of Houston-based Lopez Negrete Communications. “Undoubtedly, Eunice’s leadership will take our public relations capabilities to an entirely new level.”
