Eventus announces The Latin Grammy Acoustic Sessions

  The Latin Recording Academy and Eventus announced that Rubén Blades, Fonseca, Arthur Hanlon, Víctor Manuelle, Draco Rosa, and Voz de Mando will perform at various Latin GRAMMY Acoustic Sessions across the country. Now, in its third year, this exclusive, upscale, invitation-only music series will take place in top Hispanic markets in the U.S. from Sept. 25 through Nov. 7, and will feature intimate performances by some of the music industry’s most distinguished and talented artists.

“This intimate concert series gives music lovers the opportunity to experience some of today’s talented artists in a small, up-close and personal setting,” said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. “We are proud to continue the celebration and bring the excitement of the Latin GRAMMYs to fans across the country.  We thank our partners and talented musicians and look forward to another successful year.”

The unique acoustic performances will kick off in Los Angeles on Sept. 25, the same day nominations are announced for the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. That evening, two-time Latin GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter, musician and record producer, Draco Rosa will take the stage. The series continues in New York on Oct. 3 with Colombian recording artist and Latin GRAMMY winner Fonseca; in Chicago on Oct. 17 with Regional Mexican chart-topping sensation Voz de Mando; in Dallas on Oct. 24 with salsa superstar Víctor Manuelle; and legendary Panamanian singer/songwriter, actor, and GRAMMY winner Rubén Blades will close the series in Miami on Nov. 7 with special guest, world-renowned pianist, Arthur Hanlon. The Latin GRAMMY Acoustic Sessions lead up to the biggest night in Latin music, the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. The concert series, presented by 7UP® and The Lincoln Motor Company with official sponsors Kellogg’s and McDonald’s, is designed for intimate performances catering to an exclusive audience.

The 14th  Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 8 – 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) on the Univision Network. In addition to its U.S. broadcast, the Latin GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast in more than 100 countries worldwide.
