EXA-FM Launches In Salinas/Monterey.

Enye Radio Networks, LLC (“ENYE”) and Mexican media conglomerate MVS Radio (MVS) announced an agreement for exclusive network branding and distribution representation of MVS’s successful hemispheric EXAFM format brand. The parties have selected KEXA-FM 97.9 (formerly KEBV-FM) in the Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz, California market as its launch pad for the youth oriented “Orange Station” format. The format airs in over 49 markets in countries like Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, etc., now making its Cross-Border / Cross-Over launch in one of the densest Hispanic populated regions in the country the, Central California region.

The format is the perfect blend of Anglo & Latino Urban hits with Spanglish Rhythmic tunes and a bilingual presentation. Enye Radio Networks is working with several broadcasters across the country in several markets in both the East and West coasts for the rapid expansion of this radio network concept.
