‘EXATLŌN ESTADOS UNIDOS’ returns to Telemundo

The world’s fiercest competition, Exatlón Estados Unidos, returns to Telemundo in 2022 with a new and electrifying season premiering Tuesday, January 11 at 7pm/6c. With all the adrenaline and drama that sets it apart, the new edition of Hispanic TV’s #1 sports reality competition will be more rigorous than ever with new and more thrilling challenges, impressive circuits and nighttime obstacle courses that will test the physical and mental skills of a new generation of heroes who will make up the Famous Team (Red Team) and Team Contenders (Blue Team). As they give their all in their quest for victory, viewers will learn about their personal stories, sacrifices, and determination. Host Frederik Oldenburg and sports commentator Marisela “Chelly” Cantú return to the family-friendly primetime reality show to bring the audience all the excitement in every two-hour episode. Soon, Telemundo will announce the new generation of competitors that will take on the Exatlón arenas.

About the hosts:

Frederik Oldenburg, who joined as host of Exatlón Estados Unidos last season, has distinguished himself by his successful participation in numerous Telemundo productions. This sports lover and soccer player has collaborated in several sports programs for the network, including FIFA World Cup in Russia, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Super Bowl, Copa América, FIFA Confederations Cup, English Premier League and The Open Championship, among others.

Winner of the first season of Telemundo’s Exatlón Estados Unidos, Marisela “Chelly” Cantú is one of the most recognized faces of the sports reality competition since she made history by becoming the first woman to ever win Exatlón. The former Olympic gymnast, who represented her native Mexico during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, joined Exatlón Estados Unidos as sports commentator to offer in-depth interviews with participants of the hit sports competition.
