Faitelson joins ESPN Deportes.

After close to two decades of covering sports on broadcast television in Mexico, reknowned sports journalist David Faitelson has joined ESPN Deportes. One of Mexico’s top on-air presenters, Faitelson recently left the highly regarded TV Azteca group to cover sports for ESPN Deportes as analyst, commentator, and writer. He will also serve as an analyst in various capacities for ESPN’s networks in Latin America. Faitelson will make his debut on ESPN Deportes Tuesday, May 1 on SportsCenter.

At ESPN Deportes, Faitelson will bring his considerable talent across various platforms, including television, radio, online and print. He will serve as analyst on ESPN Deportes’ studio shows Cronómetro, Fútbol Picante, and Béisbol Esta Noche. He will also be a regular contributor on ESPN Deportes’ SportsCenter, where he will cover soccer, baseball and boxing. In addition to his television commitment, Faitelson will also serve as co-anchor for ESPN Deportes Radio’s Raza Deportiva, the radio network’s daily talk show dedicated to Mexican sports, and will serve as a contributor to ESPNdeportes.com and ESPN Deportes La Revista.

Prior to his move to ESPN Deportes, Faitelson was the host of one of the top sports news and information programs in Mexico—Los Protagonistas—and has covered the past four Olympic Games and several FIFA World Cups. He has also covered and written about sports for numerous radio and newspaper entities in Mexico.

For more than twenty years, Faitelson has built an impressive broadcast career from his home base of Mexico City. In addition to his television work, he has also worked as a reporter for top newspapers such as El Excelsior and El Heraldo de Mexico and as a sports radio talent at networks Grupo Acir, Radio Red and La Sociedad Deportiva.
