It is a priority for Liberty Tax Service to provide educational opportunities to our growing Latino community in an effort to help them more successfully enter our mainstream economy.”

The IME Scholarship Program will hold its kick-off event on Tuesday, July 31st 2012 at the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles, California. The program is supported by the Mexican Government, and is designed to support Mexican and Mexican American students in the United States. Grants are provided to educational nonprofit organizations, universities and community colleges, which in turn provide scholarships to students interested in continuing their education. The program subsidizes the studies of college/university students pursuing higher education or a university degree. Additionally, IME Scholarship Programs pay for short courses or training programs such as English as a Second Language (ESL) and GED.
