Farmers Insurance sponsor of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

Farmers Insurance Company takes the premiere sponsorship role at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF) for the second year. It will be held at the ArcLight Cinemas and it’s all happening in Hollywood.
“Farmers is pleased to the be the premiere sponsor of LALIFF, the prominent venue for exhibition of the best of Latin cinema and artistry from the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal,” noted Farmers’ Assistant Vice President of Diversity and Emerging Markets, Luisa Acosta-Franco.
Edward James Olmos, actor, director, producer, community activist and official spokesperson for Farmers, will host the opening night Gabi Lifetime Achievement Ceremony. “Mr. Olmos is a long-time friend of Farmers, and as co-founder of LALIFF and his active role in many other community programs fits perfectly with Farmers’ goal of improving the quality of life for all Latinos,” Ms. Acosta-Franco said.
Latino films from across the world will be featured in several theaters throughout the week beginning with the opening night film, La Misma Luna (Under the Same Moon), directed by Patricia Riggen. The closing night gala will be co-hosted by Edward James Olmos and film star and director Antonio Banderas who directed the evening’s film, El Camino de Los Ingleses (Summer Rain).
