The Fénix Film Awards on Cinelatino

Cinelatino has secured exclusive U.S. Spanish-language rights to transmit The Fénix Film Awards (“Premio Iberoamericano de Cine Fénix”), an inaugural awards show honoring films and filmmakers from the Ibero-American region. Cinelatino will air the event live from Mexico City on Thursday, October 30, at 9pm ET.
The Fénix Film Awards are a creation of Cinema23, an association established in 2012 to promote, support and raise awareness for the Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese film culture. Selma Hayek, Gael Garcia Bernal Guillermo Del Toro, Demián Bichir, Alejandro González Iñárritu, and Diego Luna are among the more than 350 film professionals from Mexico, Latin America, USA, Europe and Canada who will have an active role in the selection, nomination and voting process for the Fénix Film Awards.
