Ferrer – Programming Director @ AOL Latino.

AOL has named Miguel Ferrer to be Programming Director of AOL Latino. In this role, Ferrer will drive the growth of seven key programming areas: Noticias (News), Deportes (Sports), Entretenimiento (Entertainment), Música (Music), Automóviles (Automobiles), Tu Vida (Lifestyle) and Dinero y Éxito (Money & Empowerment). In addition, he will be responsible for creating and implementing key media partnerships within the Hispanic market. Ferrer will report to Ralph Rivera, Vice President and General Manager of AOL Latino.

Before joining AOL Latino, Ferrer was the Business Development Manager for People en Español, where he was responsible for creating and executing digital media opportunities for the magazine’s premier franchises, including the creation of People en Español’s family festival series FIESTA 2006.

Prior to joining People en Español, Ferrer was the President and Founder of Axexo Corp.,developer of an online community platform for entertainment marketing with offices in Puerto Rico and New York. His clients included PepsiCo Beverages International and Mannon Group.

Before that, he founded A Konshus Moment, Inc., a boutique public relations, marketing and artist promotion firm. Earlier in his career he served as head of International Marketing Development for Warner Music Brazil and Senior Marketing Manager of Latin America Region for Warner Music International in New York.
