Filling Growing Hispanic Travel Demand.

Georgetown Inc. announced the launch of SenorBarato.com, a complete travel site dedicated exclusively to the Hispanic market. Senor Barato, Spanish for “Mister Cheap”, is the brainchild of the original “Mr. Cheap”, George J. Beaudet, founder and owner of Georgetown Inc., a travel media buying service and media bank.

“We felt it was high time the growing demands of this very important travel market were addressed in an exclusive way. While a large portion of the Hispanic market utilizes traditional, English language sites, there’s no doubt that many of them prefer to work directly with an all Hispanic language approach, and we understand that,” Beaudet said.

Senor Barato, or SenorBarato.com, will initially feature a full complement of travel options such as low airfares, hotel and resort accommodations, rental cars and ancillary products. “We have traditionally sought relationships that produce some of the best airfares and package deals in today’s market, and we intend to follow that same business model with Senor Barato. We’ve long held that the desire for discounted travel is universal, and Senor Barato is simply the expression of that belief,” Beaudet noted. He also added that the new site would be powered by state-of-the-art technology provided by Travelnow.com.

Beaudet is also the founder of wGuides.com, one of the Internet’s most comprehensive travel information websites. It spans nearly 230,000 pages with a half-dozen in-depth articles about nearly three hundred of the world’s most attractive travel destinations. It also provides links to 141,000 plus points of interest and features over 30,000 photographs.
